Terms and Conditions

Southern Sewer Services (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides plumbing services to residential and commercial customers. By scheduling a service appointment, requesting a quote, or engaging in business with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Service Terms

  • Customers must confirm availability, provide accurate contact information, and ensure access to the property before scheduled service.

  • Upfront payments are not required, except for jobs exceeding $1,500, where a deposit may be necessary.

  • Customers may cancel service appointments at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.

  • All work performed is warrantied, as detailed in our FSM (Field Service Management) program for opted-in customers.

  • Disputes and Service Corrections: Customers must allow one opportunity for us to correct any service issue before raising further concerns. Refunds are not provided; we only offer service corrections.


2. Payments and Refunds

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, credit/debit card, or check.

  • No refunds will be issued. Instead, service corrections will be provided in case of dissatisfaction.

  • Any applicable payment terms or fees will be clearly outlined on the invoice or quote.


3. Liability and Customer Responsibilities

  • Job-Specific Liability: Customers acknowledge that certain jobs may require accessing plumbing systems through walls, floors, or landscaping.

    • We are not responsible for sheetrock repair, landscaping restoration, or any necessary structural modifications required to complete the work.

    • We will do our best to restore areas as close as possible to their previous condition, but perfect restoration is not guaranteed.

  • Omissions Insurance Clause: We are not responsible for unforeseen plumbing system failures unrelated to our completed work (e.g., a sewer backup occurring after repairing a toilet supply line).

  • Customers must disclose any known plumbing issues during our on-site diagnosis.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, including restraining pets and disclosing any potential safety hazards, such as violent offenders in the home.


4. Text Messaging Communications

  • By scheduling a service, you consent to receive text messages regarding appointment confirmations, technician enroute notifications, invoices, quotes, and receipts.

  • These messages are NOT used for marketing but serve as a primary means of communication.

  • Customers cannot opt out of service-related text communications unless they request an alternative contact method (e.g., phone call or email).


5. Service Delays and Availability

  • We communicate any and all delays with customers as soon as possible.

  • In the event of unforeseen delays (such as weather conditions, previous job overruns, or emergencies), we will make every effort to reschedule promptly.

  • Emergency and after-hours services may be subject to additional charges, which will be disclosed upfront.


6. Amendments and Updates

  • Southern Sewer Services reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes agreement to the revised terms.


7. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mississippi.
